Why did you move to Maine?
My family is originally from Presque Isle (the county!). I spent a lot of time up there playing baseball and enjoying the small-town feel. After living in many places, we wanted to raise our children in an environment similar to how I was brought up. Things that attracted me to Maine was how friendly people are here. We have an active lifestyle and Portland ME offers so many things that our family enjoys.

What’s your favorite thing about living and working in Scarborough ME?
I enjoy working and living within the community in which I treat.  I enjoy seeing my patients out and about enjoying life. I like how everything is located in close proximity to all the activities I love to do.  We often hike the Eastern trail, play with the kids and dog at Ferry Beach in Scarborough, or try a new restaurant in downtown Portland. Everything is so convenient, nearby and easy to get around. I think that’s what I picked Scarborough to raise our family.

What other involvement do you have in the community?
Currently we are organizing a non-profit run on the Eastern Trail here in Scarborough ME. The Event is called MEND the Gap. With the help of local businesses and the local running community, we will be able to raise money to help the Eastern Trail in closing the gap. This is not only important for our Scarborough, ME community, but also to bring an off-road trail that connects our local communities of Saco, Old Orchard, Scarborough, South Portland, Kittery ME.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Coffee! 😊
